Country Manager's Open Letter To Singapore XL Members (Part 2)

I've met Thomas several time and have spoken with him. All I can say is that he is an upstanding and hardworking man who has dedicated his time and energy to XL and its members. I have also met Roger many times; so I cannot help but read between the lines in Thomas and AJ's email.

Summary of Thomas and AJ's (TA) letter
TA's 2 year old son Danish was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma, cancer of the nervous system - Oct 2004.

TA's 4 year old daughter Michelle, has stage 2 Leukemia and had down syndrome from birth.

Danish at age 3 & 4, had a minor head surgery, 6 rounds of chemotherapy, a major 10 hours abdominal surgery, Bone and Marrow Transplant, 17 days of brain tumor Radiation Therapy and passed away in Nov 2008.

Roger asks TA to Show up, Step up and Give back - Jul 2007.

TA became XL Lifemembers in May 2007 and Country Managers in November 2007.

TA claims XL Mission Control had major changes in Sept 2008 and were unable to give its Singapore XL franchise support as promised.

TA claims that Roger had given them an unfair franchise agreement where TA has to pay for members who joined prior to Nov 2007 and received nothing to support them.

TA alleges that XL life members were spreading rumours that TA were responsible for the decision to deprive the members of meal benefits at an XL event. Decision was made by Michelle Clarke from XL mission control in UK. TA quotes "It is sad that people who seem very friendly giving "warm" hugs were also armed with daggers to back-stab us." =(

TA has 4 more years in their XL franchise agreement and asks Roger to Show up, Step up and Give back - Jan 2009.
